What's the difference

Good morning. I heard part of a sermon on the radio this morning and wanted to share it with you. "A group of socialites were gathered to celebrate a well known actor's film success. The group urged the actor to recite something for them, hoping to get a personal performance. Amongst the crowd was an older Pastor friend, whom the actor looked at and shrugged his shoulders. The Pastor said, 'Why don't you recite the 23rd Psalm.' The actor replied, 'I will only if you recite it after I am finished.' The Pastor agreed. The actor stood and with great diction and perfect wording recited the 23rd Psalm. The group sat in awe of his presentation. Next the Pastor stood, a little bent with age and seasoned in preaching the Gospel.When he finished reciting, there was not a dry eye in the house. A member of the group asked the actor, 'It was the same Psalm, what made his so different?' The actor replied, 'I only know the words, the Pastor knows the Shepard.' " What a difference it makes when we walk in God's word.

Does LOVE ever Quit?

"Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek it's own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away." - 1 Corinthians 13:4-8

Healing Prayer

Morning Everyone,I have a huge favor to ask you all. Friday that just passed Cesar's dadAlfonso was in a really bad car accident and almost died, he is stable inthe ICU at the LAC USC Hosp in LA but he is not doing that great. His sugaris really low and he now has kidney failure and a heart condition, can youall please say alittle prayer for him. He is in his 70's so it will bealittle more difficult for him to heal and so forth but I know that Godcreates miracles and the more prayers that are said for him the better. Iknow that he could get through this and have many more years ahead of himbut I truly feel that all of you could really help me and his family out byjust saying alittle prayer for him and his recovery, it would really meanthe world to me.Thanks for your time and prayers..From- A faithful FriendPrayer Response:Heavenly Father, I come before you humbling myself to you Lord. Please hear our prayer and supplication for the Healing of Alfonso, Lord you know his heart, his pain and afflictions at this moment. I ask in your son Jesus Name for complete healing and restoration of his health Lord, that you grant us a Miracle for Alfonso's life. Send your Angels to protect him, to touch his heart and give him hope, deliver him from pain. Lord that through your great power all men and women that surround your son, may see that only through you this could be possible. O Lord, have mercy! All these thinks I ask in Jesus Christ Name, Amen!-A.HansenPrayer Response:Well I really wanted to let you know that it means alot to me thatyou took the time out of your day to help me in prayer for Cesar's dad.There were quite a few people that I sent this out to and only a handful ofpeople took the time to let me know that I can depend on their prayer, andI just wanted to let you know that it means alot to me.And I am very happy to report that with all our prayers he is doing so muchbetter, when I sent the email out he was at his worst point he had 5fractures, kidney failure, heart problems and pre-pneumonia. And afternumerous tests he only has 2 fractures, no heart problems, no pneumonia andhe does have some kidney problems but not severe enough for dialysis likethe Dr had thought. Now to me that is a miracle and I know it has alot todue with faith and all our prayers. As of last night he was released and isresting comfortably at his house and he does have a long road ahead of himwith his therapy and all, but I know that he will be back to normal in notime.Thank you so much for your support, any of you could have just shrugged itoff but you took the time to care for someone you don't even knowpersonally.
